Swagbucks is hosting another round of Shopping Swago! What is SWAGO you ask? It’s a bingo-inspired promotion run by Swagbucks, a website that rewards you with points (called SB) for completing everyday online activities. You can redeem those SB for free gift cards. If you’ve never used Swagbucks, participating in SWAGO is a great introduction to the site and an easy way to earn a good amount of points quickly. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, why not do your gift shopping online and earn cash back while you’re at it?Here’s what you need to know to get your 200 SB ($2) Bonus (and don’t worry, you don’t have to make a purchase to complete a pattern):Shop Swago will begin on Monday, February 6th at 9am PDT/12pm EDT, make sure you hit “Join” otherwise you won’t get credit for completing the action items. Each square on your Swago Board will contain an action item to complete.Once you complete the action item in a particular square the square will change color signifying the action item is complete. You have a limited amount of time to mark off as many squares as possible so use your time wisely.Be mindful of the patterns and their corresponding bonuses located on the right of your Swago Board. The patterns will vary in difficulty and bonus value.Once you’ve achieved a pattern the corresponding “Submit” button will light up. You can have multiple patterns available for submission, however, you can only submit ONE pattern so choose wisely. The game ends Thursday, February 9th at 12pm PDT/3pm EDT. So make sure to hit “Submit” on the pattern you wish to submit. If you don’t hit “Submit” before the game ends you won’t receive your SB bonus. This is a fun an easy way to earn some extra SB.

/////////////////////////////////////////// Sweet and Easy Valentine Treats For Your Family #Valentine #Treats #Family #Foodie
Posted: 02 Feb 2017 02:12 PM PST

You don’t have to be a professional baker to make sweet treats for your family this Valentine’s day. I made these sweet Valentine treats using 2 boxed pound cakes and a heart cookie cutter.
Simply cut out hearts in the center of each slice of pound cake and switch them.
Garnish with whipped cream and a strawberry and Voila! You have a sweet treat for those you love!
You can even cut mini hearts to put in your children’s lunches!

Sweet and easy!

/////////////////////////////////////////// Seriously?!! My #WeightWatchers Journey – Week 21
Posted: 03 Feb 2017 04:16 AM PST

Guess who counted calories, did extra walking, drank all her water and gained a 1/2 lb. this week? This girl! (insert scream here)

Ok, seriously, I didn’t freak out at all. These things happen on occasion. Like I have said before, there are up weeks, down weeks, some little, some big, It all works out in the long run, provided we stay on track. It doesn’t mean I am not disappointed, however I am not discouraged.
Little things can cause slight gains. Being a woman, I am sure you know what some may be. Sometimes water retention, constipation, sodium intake, muscle growth, hormones, medical reasons etc. Whatever the reason may be, it can be fixed. Just pay closer attention to your body, diet and exercise. If the scale goes up again, have a talk with your doctor, dietician, or WW coach. Let them see if there is anything that needs to be adjusted.
In the mean time, you can try moving a bit more, drinking more water, eating less sodium and making sure to track everything you eat and drink to be sure.
This week’s meeting was an extension of last week. We talked a lot about being aware of what we eat, how much we eat and keeping track of all of the foods we eat including anything we may just taste, sample, bite or sip. Those little nibbles can add up quicker than you think and before you know it, you can be consuming an extra 4 or more points a day. Over the course of a week, that can be an entire 28 points !
This week, I am focusing on my water intake and I am going to keep up with what I have been doing all along. I got in more steps last week, so I want to be sure to do that this week as well.
What I won’t be doing is sulking about today. New mind set, better results.

Have a great week. I know I will!

/////////////////////////////////////////// Earn SB in your neighborhood with SB Local #savings

You’ve probably heard me talk about Swagbucks before. It’s the site where you get points (called SB) for doing things like shopping, discovering deals, watching videos, taking surveys, and searching the web. Then you turn those points in free gift cards to places like Amazon, Starbucks, Target, and PayPal cash.
Swagbucks is at its best when they’re paying you to do something you’d already do online, and now they’re taking that concept into thousands of restaurants around the country with the SB Local app for iOS and Android. Starting on 2/2 and running through Sunday, 2/5, they have a killer deal running – here’s how you can take advantage of it:
1. Click here to download the Swagbucks Local app. You can create your Swagbucks account if you’re new to it.
2. Sign in with your Swagbucks account information.
3. Link your first debit/credit cards to your Swagbucks Local app and get an instant 100 SB!
4. Use your linked card to pay at thousands of participating locations! If you spend $20 or more before Monday, February 6th, you’ll get a 300 SB bonus! That bonus will be paid out by 5pm PST on February 10th.
If you’re also signing up for Swagbucks for the first time and use my link, that means you’ll get another 300 SB bonus. We’re talking about $7 plus for going out to eat!
Some more info about SB Local: Soon after paying with your linked card, you will see the transaction show up in your Swagbucks Local Activity ledger. Your SB earned will be calculated on the transaction amount before taxes and tip. Swagbucks Local is currently supported in the following metropolitan areas: San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, Ventura County, Dallas, Atlanta, Washington DC, Phoenix, Houston, Denver, Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Cincinnati, Seattle, Fort Lauderdale and Chicago. New cities added on a regular basis, and you’ll get the 100 SB bonus for linking your first card even if you don’t live in one of the cities listed above!
