** Naturalbabydol ———————————————————— Fresh from our kitchen to yours with love This week, we’re sharing a recipe for Delicious Granola Stuffed Baked Apples. We’ve added a twist on your granny’s baked apples. They’re versatile enough to eat for breakfast, lunch, or dessert and of course they’re great for snacking, right out of the fridge. Just warm them up for a few minutes and add your favorite vanilla ice cream. We prefer French Vanilla!

** Granola Stuffed Baked Apples ————————————————————
** By Turkesha McIvy ———————————————————— INGREDIENTS * 2-4 Organic Gala apples (cut in half and cored) * 2 cups of Viki’s Granola Original * 2 Tablespoons of salted butter (please melt) * 1 cup of brown sugar * .5 teaspoon vanilla extract * 1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg * 1.5 teaspoons of ground cinnamon * 1 Tablespoon of Honey (Optional)
** PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS ———————————————————— 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 2. Place the apple halves on a cookie sheet 3. Mix the granola with melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, nutmeg and cinnamon. 4. Top the apple halves with granola. 5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, uncovered.
