Healthy Lighting Makeover: Work Spaces and Giveaway

Post : Healthy Lighting Makeover: Work Spaces and Giveaway URL : Posted : November 4, 2015 at 4:13 pm Author : Kay Swederski Categories : Uncategorized I spend a lot of time working on the computer and then when I am done with that I like to work on my craft projects. I don’t know if it is because I am getting older that my eyes seem to get sore and tired or if it is the lighting.  I decided it may be the light bulbs I use so I wanted to try these Healthy Lighting Makeover: Work Spaces light bulbs from Verilux. I received two Natural Spectrum Compact Fluorescent light bulbs and put one by the desk and the computer and one in the lamp by the chair I like to sit in at night and crochet. I found that everything looked a bit better.  The light is white – not the yellow color most lighting is.  I am hoping that the bulbs will help the headaches I get some nights. Along with the better lighting you get money savings.  A  13 Watt Natural Spectrum® Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb – Spiral (CFL) – CFS13VLX brightness is equivalent to a 60 Watt bulb.  The bulbs have 10,000 hour bulb life and you can save up to $100 over the life of each bulb.  So whats not to love? We will be replacing all of our bulbs over the next few weeks.  If you would like to purchase your own Natural Spectrum® Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs you can do so HERE ( ) . Verilux would like one of my readers to try these bulbs also.  You must be 18+ US (48), DC.  Leave a comment on how you think you will like these new bulbs.  Extra entry for each way you follow Kaisy Daisy’s Corner.  Giveaway ends on Nov 11, 2015.  Enter daily.
