Happy Food Healthy Life Newsletter – What Healthy Means to Me

Hi Eric!
I have been doing a bit of thinking about how people may perceive my site, Happy Food Healthy Life. The first thing I generally hear is something along the lines of, “Oh, so you’re a health food blog?” I can see how that would be a normal assumption!
Yes, I do have a lot of healthy recipes posted, but the thing is, I sure have a lot of unhealthier recipes on the blog as well. (can you say Dark Chocolate Layer Cake with Coffee Buttercream?! Come to Mama!) That may be a little confusing to you, right? 
So then, what is it? Am I health-conscious or am I just a big liar? The truth of the matter is that you can be healthy and eat your cake too. Really!

I was sick of restricting the foods that I love, yet I really wanted to live a healthy and fit lifestyle. I wasn’t willing to give either one up, so instead, I adapted a lifestyle that includes both. Cake and Fitness.
The awesome thing about life is that you get to create the rules.
